Slice Girls Golf
The Slice Girls, the Regency women’s golf group is made up of 30 women golfers of various skill levels. The Slice Girls play nine holes every Wednesday morning at 8:30 from the first week of May through the end of October at several local courses. The format is a Scramble enabling everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the weekly outing.
Email reminders are sent out each week so everyone knows the course to be played and so that everyone can commit to playing as schedules allow. Prior to each Wednesday morning, the Slice Girls are sent the list of foursomes. These weekly golf outings, in addition to providing an opportunity for neighbors to enjoy a round of nine holes of golf, enable the women to enjoy spending time with neighbors and to form friendships.
